I’m delighted to speak to students, educators, librarians, parents, and those who would like to write for children and teens.

I have a good deal of experience as a visiting author in schools, and I’m happy to do assemblies, classroom visits, and/or writing workshops.

In my workshops for educators, I train teachers to present my copyrighted writing materials to their students, or I can teach other writing-related subjects. My years of teaching in the MFA program at Vermont College of Fine Arts have provided me with lots of ideas and experience

I love presenting to SCBWI and other writing organizations, either as a keynoter, workshop leader, breakout speaker, or panelist.
